Description

A refreshing homemade green tea lemonade with fresh lemon juice, honey, and chilled brewed tea. Healthier than Starbucks!

Ingredients

Scale

4 cups water

4 green tea bags

1/3 cup honey (or sugar, to taste)

1 cup fresh lemon juice (about 4 lemons)

Ice cubes

Lemon slices and mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

Bring water to a near boil and steep green tea bags for 3 minutes.

Remove tea bags and let the tea cool completely.

Stir in fresh lemon juice and honey or sugar until dissolved.

Chill in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.

Serve over ice, garnished with lemon slices and mint leaves.

Notes

Clara’s Tip: Always let the tea cool before adding lemon juice to prevent cloudiness.

Variation: Add fresh mint, ginger slices, or top with sparkling water for a twist.
