Description

This iced matcha latte recipe is creamy, refreshing, and ready in 5 minutes. Customize with your favorite milk and sweetener for a perfect café-style drink at home!

Ingredients

Scale

1 teaspoons matcha powder

2 tablespoons hot water (not boiling)

1 cup milk of choice (oat, almond, coconut, or dairy)

12 teaspoons honey, maple syrup, or sweetener of choice

1 cup ice

Optional: ½ teaspoon vanilla, pinch cinnamon, protein powder

Instructions

1. Sift matcha powder into a small bowl or mug.

2. Add hot water and whisk briskly until smooth and frothy (no clumps).

3. Fill a tall glass with ice.

4. Pour the matcha over ice.

5. Add cold milk and sweetener to taste.

6. Stir well, taste, and adjust sweetness if needed.

7. Add optional vanilla, cinnamon, or protein if you like. Enjoy!

Notes

For a Starbucks-style latte, use sweetened matcha and extra creamy milk.

No whisk? Shake matcha and water in a jar, then pour over ice.

To prevent clumping, always sift your matcha and use warm—not boiling—water.

For a lower-calorie drink, use unsweetened almond milk and less sweetener.
